EMF 5th Ward Meeting FRIDAY!!

All of Carriage Town is now in the 5th Ward and this Thursday is the 5th Ward meeting with Mike Brown, the EMF and his team. He will discuss the ongoing budget deficits, the EMF law itself, which is probably very constitutional but we will see, options, policing and crime and all sorts of things. The meeting is being hosted by our councilman, Bernard Lawler and starts Thursday at 5:30 up at Hurley Hospital in the Merliss Auditorium.

I hope Carriage Town is well represented but I will post and update Friday sometime on what was said.

Update on Voting Wards

As of now, or actually election day in April, the entire neighborhood is in the 5th Ward and we are represented by Bernard Lawler. Sheldon Neeley is not our councilman anymore so remember this on election day, you may have new voting precincts.

Anyway, Councilman Lawler is hosting a ward meeting with Mike Brown and his staff to discuss PA 4 (EMF) and the current state of Flint's budget. The meeting will be held at Hurley Hospitals Merliss Auditorium on Feb 9th at 5:30 PM. All are invited.
